Um dia depois da reapresentação oficial do elenco vascaíno para a temporada 2016, dois dos quatro atletas que foram liberados pela diretoria no primeiro dia de trabalho retornaram à São Januário: o capitão Rodrigo e o colombiano Riascos. Agora, para fechar o elenco faltam o goleiro Martin Silva e o atacante Nenê, que são aguardados nesta sexta-feira.

Depois de um primeiro dia de conversas com a direção de futebol e a comissão técnica, o elenco iniciou os testes físicos e médicos em São Januário. Segundo o técnico Jorginho, a ideia dele já era trabalhar a parte tática em campo, mas esse tipo de trabalho é necessário neste início de temporada e por isso, não pôde ir ao gramado.

– Nesse período inicial não dá para treinar com bola. Eu estou doido para treinar no campo, mas é necessário fazer os testes físicos e médicos neste início. Vamos treinar muito a parte tática. O período em Pinheiral vai ser muito focado nisso, trabalho técnico e tático. A parte física é importante também, mas nosso foco será neste tipo de trabalho – explicou.

O argentino Guiñazú, que não tem a permanência garantida para 2016, também trabalhou normalmente nesta quinta-feira. A diretoria ainda vai se reunir com o jogador para conversar. Fora dos planos da comissão técnica, a tendência é de que haja um acordo pela rescisão.

Talk about going down with a fight. After a wretched display before the international break saw Newcastle slip to a dismal 2-1 defeat to Southampton, you would have thought Steve Bruce’s side would be raring to put things right on Saturday afternoon against Chelsea.

Instead, they were timid, far too defensive and void of any creativity. A familiar scene for any Magpies fan this season. The Argentine has arguably been one of the more reliable performers this season at St James’ Park, but he was nowhere near the kind of standards he has set for himself.

The 31-year-old was involved in Chelsea’s first goal, and his attempts at trying to claim a foul from Ben Chilwell was pathetic. The 6 foot 2 central defender was far too weak in defending an incoming corner, and instead of trying to clear his lines, seemed more interested in going down at the slightest of contact from the Blues ace. The end result? He ended up sticking it into his own net.

And his nightmare display wasn’t all about his own goal either. As per Sofascore, he made no tackles or interceptions whatsoever, and competed in just one duel – which he lost.

For a centre-back to go through an entire game without registering a defensive contribution like that is frankly shocking, and he just looked all at sea in trying to deal with the pace and movement of the likes of Timo Werner and Tammy Abraham.

Jamaal Lascelles’ injury probably didn’t help his cause either, but for an experienced professional like him to put in such a nothing display, was just a slap in the face for the supporters and Bruce.

ولكن بحسب الشبكة الشهيرة ومتخصص الانتقالات، فابرزيو رومانو، عبر حسابه الرسمي على موقع التواصل الاجتماعي “تويتر”، قال: “محرز لا يخطط لمغادرة مانشستر سيتي في يناير كما تقول بعض التقارير”.

وتابع: “لا يزال مصممًا على المنافسة والقتال من أجل البقاء والمشاركة مع مانشستر سيتي وبيب جوارديولا”.

كان تقرير “FootMecrcato” يلمح أيضًا إلى وجود اهتمام من طرف ناديي ريال مدريد وباريس سان جيرمان للتعاقد مع الجزائري الدولي بطل كأس أمم إفريقيا 2019 في مصر.

ولكن نجحت شبكة “City Xtra” الإنجليزية في الحصول على تصريح من رياض محرز كما أكدت أن كل ما يقُال في التقرير الفرنسي غير صحيح ولا يفكر تمامًا في الرحيل عن مانشستر سيتي في يناير.

In an exclusive interview with Football FanCast, former West Brom midfielder Carlton Palmer has given his verdict over the recent sale of Ahmed Hegazi.

The 29-year-old veteran helped the Baggies to their first clean sheet of the season but just days later, he was sold to Saudi Pro League outfit Al-Ittihad, who Slaven Bilic was in charge of prior to taking the helm at the Hawthorns.

After the following match, a 1-1 draw to Brighton, the Albion boss explained to reporters that it was against his wishes, he said: “It definitely wasn’t my decision. It wasn’t a football decision to be fair. I am very disappointed. We are a team that needs all our good players.”

Without Hegazi, the Midlands outfit have kept just one clean sheet, which came in their recent 1-0 victory over Sheffield United last weekend whilst they lost three of their next four games after the Egyptian’s departure.

Only one team in the Premier League has conceded more goals than West Brom so far this season, so the decision to sell Hegazi does look like a silly piece of business.

And Palmer believes there are issues arising as a result of the circumstances that Bilic is currently working under.

He told FFC:

“It seems to be that a Bilic is working under difficult circumstances. You know, a player was sold without his knowledge and without him in agreement, which is never a good thing for a head coach to have to deal with.

“I mean, if that happened before, before a game, literally, you know that the player was in the starting lineup and then he found out the player had been sold, so there are certainly issues there.”

Elsewhere, there have been reports throwing Bilic’s future into doubt amid claims that tensions between the Croatian and the board have increased over their recruitment strategy since the summer transfer window.

The Athletic’s David Ornstein believes the 52-year-old’s tenure at the Hawthorns is “on a constant knife-edge.”

West Brom now have Crystal Palace in a crucial tie this Sunday, a defeat here could see the Baggies remain at least seven points adrift of 15th place.

Mais do que nunca, o técnico Muricy Ramalho faz valer a máxima “aqui é trabalho” nos primeiros dias sob o comando do Flamengo. Embora ainda esteja no início da pré-temporada, o treinador rubro-negro se esforça a cada dia para conseguir dar a cara dele ao time. E, no primeiro teste da equipe em 2016, o jogo-treino contra o Tigres-RJ, quinta-feira, em Mangaratiba, ficou claro que, taticamente e filosoficamente, já dá para ver o “estilo Muricy”.

Mas engana-se quem pensa que a filosofia do treinador está ligada apenas ao setor defensivo, rótulo dado a ele após o tricampeonato brasileiro com o São Paulo, entre 2006 e 2008. Muricy Ramalho tem, na essência, o objetivo de implementar uma filosofia moderna ao Flamengo. Não apenas ao time profissional, mas também nas categorias de base. Em suma, as principais ideias são: posse de bola durante os 90 minutos, compactação na marcação e no ataque, e respeito ao posicionamento defensivo, que nestes primeiros dias de treino vêm sendo no estilo de Tite com o Corinthians: o 4-1-4-1.

– O grande problema é que hoje não se pode ter esse espaço entre as linhas. É o que mais se treina, temos que encurtar mesmo, mas é uma coisa de treinamento, não só um pedido. Treinamos algumas vezes isso e no jogo-treino parece que eles assimilaram. Nosso goleiro sofreu muito pouco, tivemos pouca bola em profundidade e futebol hoje é isso. Transição boa, posse de bola e é uma característica que tem que ser explorada – explicou.

Além do posicionamento e da filosofia, a comissão técnica também trabalha fortemente na área “extracampo”. Conforme o LANCE! antecipou no início da pré-temporada, o clube trabalha para montar um centro de excelência, com foco em fisiologia e tratamento individualizado para cada jogador. O objetivo é prevenir e diminuir as lesões, algo que o próprio Muricy indicou como um dos problemas do ano passado, mesmo sem ter estado no clube.

– As coisas mais importantes que a comissão sofreu foi com informação que hoje são fundamentais em um time de futebol. Auxiliar a preparação física, saber como os jogadores estão. Antes não se tinha ideia do que o jogador percorria em campo, intensidade, diferença muscular. Poucas informações e isso é terrível, por isso tiveram muitas contusões. Hoje isso está sendo solucionado. Temos um pessoal de informação muito bom com ferramentas ótimas para a parte física e médica. A diferença é grande, foi feito um diagnóstico e concluímos que era uma coisa que ajuda. Não ganha jogo, mas ajuda a manter – disse o treinador, após o jogo-treino contra o Tigres-RJ.

A pré-temporada do Flamengo continua em Mangaratiba até o início da próxima semana. Nesta sexta-feira, está prevista a apresentação do meia argentino Federico Mancuello, principal reforço rubro-negro até agora.

وكان توماس بارتي قد غاب عن مواجهة واتفورد في الجولة الماضية بسبب إصابة في الفخذ، والتي أجبرته كذلك على الغياب عن مباريات منتخب غانا في فترة التوقف الدولي الأخيرة.

أما فيما يتعلق بـ أوباميانج، فقد ترددت أنباء حول عدم جاهزيته لمباراة الغد ضد ليفربول خاصة بعد عودته مبكرًا من معسكر منتخب الجابون في فترة التوقف، وهو ما أثار بعض الشكوك حول لياقته.

ورغم ذلك، فإن أوباميانج وتوماس بارتي شاركا بشكل طبيعي في تدريبات فريق آرسنال مساء اليوم استعدادًا لمواجهة ليفربول في المباراة المرتقبة السبت.

وذكرت شبكة “فوتبول لندن” الإنجليزية أن تدريبات آرسنال الجماعية مساء الجمعة شهدت مشاركة بارتي وأوباميانج وظهرا في حالة بدنية جيدة.

وأشارت إلى أن ذلك الأمر يعني إمكانية اعتماد المدرب مايكل أرتيتا على خدمات أوباميانج وبارتي غدًا أمام كتيبة يورجن كلوب.

Morale at the Celtic camp will be soaring after they managed to fight out a win over Lille in their latest Europa League fixture. Whilst Neil Lennon and his side are already out of the competition, they can take away the confidence boost from the victory as they prepare to face Kilmarnock tomorrow.

The boss will also be pleased with some individual performances, with Ismaila Soro in particular seriously impressing with his first ever start for the Hoops. The Ivorian midfielder played the full 90 minutes at Celtic Park on Thursday and showcased his skill to strike the perfect balance between defensive and more attacking contributions.

According to Sofascore, Soro made one key pass and drew in three fouls, highlighting his diligent work on the ball and how much it can stress out the opposition. He also contributed a whopping ten tackles, working extremely hard to keep out the Lille attackers from the engine room.

With the match result having no impact on Celtic’s Europa League fate, Lennon could afford to change up his usual lineup and give lesser played personnel a chance. This is exactly what he did and the likes of Soro didn’t disappoint him.

The midfielder put in that much of a promising performance that the manager must consider starting him against Kilmarnock on Sunday. The £11,000 per week workhorse should be given a chance to slot into the lineup ahead of Scott Brown, who has been very quiet during his recent appearances.

By replacing the skipper with a player like Soro, who is hungry for minutes in the tank, could turn out to be a stroke of genius. Celtic have a huge 13-point deficit to make back as Rangers run away with the league and whilst they may not be able to catch them up, it’s the perfect opportunity to test the waters with new lineups before next season.
