The good news for Liverpool is that the Premier League will return on June 17.

On Thursday, it was confirmed that the English top flight will restart next month after it was deemed safe enough to finish the end of the campaign. The Reds are 25 points clear at the top of the division and are just two wins and six points away from winning their first league title in 30 years.

However, the bad news is that the Merseyside outfit may not be allowed to play their home matches at Anfield. No fans will be allowed in any stadium anyway but the authorities believe that, given the situation, many Reds fans could congregate outside the ground as they look to push their team to victory.

This has not gone down well with some Liverpool fans at all – it seems that they are unhappy that they could be the only ones to be forced to play under such conditions. وقال كلوب في مؤتمر صحفي خاص بمواجهة ميلان غدًا: “لقد تحدثت مع هارفي بعد المباراة، كان في أفضل مكان ممكن، كان يعلم أنه سيخرج لفترة من الوقت وسيبتعد عن الملاعب”.

وأضاف: “سيخضع لجراحة اليوم، هذه هي الخطوة التالية وننتظر أخبارًا عن ذلك اليوم من لندن، ونتمنى له العود في أسرع وقت ممكن”.

وعن مواجهة ميلان غدًا، علق كلوب: “هناك العديد من الذكريات بين الفريقين، ميلان لم يكن في دوري الأبطال لسنوات، ولكن في حالة جيدة خلال الـ18 شهرًا الماضية، وبدأ هذا الموسم بشكل جيد، والمباراة بيننا ستكون تاريخية يحب الجميع أن يراها”.

وأشار: “نحن في مجموعة صعبة، لا أعتقد أنه عندما رأيناها قال أحد إنها مجموعة جيدة لأي فريق، بالطبع ستكون صعبة علينا جميعًا، هناك أتلتيكو مدريد وبورتو، بطل إسبانيا والفريق البرتغالي التاريخي، وميلان صاحب أكبر عدد من الألقاب بعد ريال مدريد”.

وأكد يورجن كلوب: “هذه أقوى مجموعة بالنسبة لي منذ أن كنت في دورتموند، كان لدي مانشستر سيتي وريال مدريد في مجموعة واحدة، لكن للأسف لن يتأهل إلا 2 فقط والثالث سيرسل إلى الدوري الأوروبي”.

وأردف: “لقد مر وقت طويل على آخر مباراة خاضها فريقنا في دوري أبطال أوروبا مع الجماهير في ملعب أنفيلد، لذا لا أطيق الانتظار لتجربة ذلك مرة أخرى غدًا، ونتمنى أن نسعدهنم”.

وعن مواجهة زلاتان إبراهيموفيتش، علق: “رأيت فيديو له عندما أصيب، ثم في وقت مبكر بما فيه الكفاية كان يقاوم، وقال إن الأسود لا ترتاح طويلًا، وهذا ما يؤكد أنه رجل اللحظات الاستثنائية، إذا لم يلعب سيكون هناك جيرو، كلهم لاعبين جيدين”.

Former Bristol City manager Lee Johnson has said that Ryan Kent must take his game to the next level for Glasgow Rangers during the 2020/21 campaign.

Johnson was Kent’s boss during his time at the Robins on loan from Liverpool in 2018, with him creating two goals in 11 matches for the Championship outfit. Since then, Kent has signed for the ‘Gers for a fee of £7m, but he is yet to set Ibrox alight with his displays, instead coming in for criticism at times.

Talking to the Daily Record, Johnson said:

“I’m certain that Ryan can get better and have a big season for Rangers this year. He’s still a young player, you have to remember that.

“Rangers are an unbelievable club, who are trying to close that gap on Celtic.

“And you can see signs of it at various different times. Ryan now has to take his game to the next level.

“He’s got a very good manager in Steven and one that really believes in him, which is important. Ryan will feel that belief.

“And I think it’ll be an interesting season up there.”

The Light Blues’ outlay on Kent was significant and, whilst he hasn’t been a flop, Steven Gerrard will have hoped for a better return than the eight goals and four assists the £3.15m-valued Liverpudlian managed in 32 matches last season.

This upcoming campaign is one of the utmost importance for Gerrard after two years without a trophy – the former Liverpool captain can surely not afford to go a third without silverware. As the ‘Gers look to close a 13-point gap to Celtic at the top of the Premiership table, a strong season from Kent would give them a huge boost and a stronger chance of doing so.

وتعرض برايثوايت لإصابة في آخر جولات الدوري الإسباني أمام خيتافي قبل التوقف الدولي الماضي، ولم يستكمل المباراة التي أقيمت على ملعب “كامب نو”.

وحاول برشلونة بحسب بيانه الرسمي أن يعالج اللاعب الدنماركي من خلال العلاج الطبيعي بدون التدخل الجراحي ولكن لم يتعاف برايثوايت من إصابة عظم الفخذ في الركبة اليسرى.

سيدخل برايثوايت إلى غرفة العمليات في الأيام المقبلة، هذا ما جاء في البيان الرسمي منذ قليل من برشلونة وسيصدر بيانًا جديدًا بالتطورات فور انتهاء العملية الجراحية.

وشارك برايثوايت مع برشلونة في 3 مباريات في بطولة الدوري الإسباني بإجمالي 226 دقيقة وسجل هدفين أمام ريال سوسيداد وصنع هدفًا آخر في نفس المباراة.

الجدير بالذكر أن التقارير تشير إلى أن الدنماركي سيغيب عن مباريات برشلونة لفترة تتراوح بين 3 إلى 4 أشهر، وبالتالي، إذا صحت الأنباء لن يعود برايثوايت قبل يناير 2022.
